Alberta Halal Auditing Services (AHAS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that Halal food meets authentic Islamic requirements. Our work is supported by a team of qualified auditors and volunteers, many of whom contribute their time without compensation, driven by a commitment to serving the community and upholding the integrity of Halal.
Alberta Halal Auditing Service (AHAS) is halal certifying body based in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Our aim is to make it easy for Muslims to determine where they can find authentically halal products by vetting vendors ourselves. Any vendor that is certified by our body is rigorously checked and frequently inspected. We value transparency, so all of our requirements are easy to find and understand.
